Happy Tuesday (that seems like a Monday!) Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend (if you had one).. and took time to remember what yesterday was all about. I’ve talked about MLK, Jr. in the past.. and how important I find this holiday and different ways we celebrate it in the classroom.
Today – I wanted to show you how I get to take a walk down memory lane.. every day. I’ve mentioned my liking for Timehop Abe in the past, but since then, Timehop has turned into a completely mobile operation through a mobile app!
Each day, I open the app – and it will show me posts I’ve made on that day in history – going as far back as 7 years! So – technically, I can see what I was posting on facebook when I was just 20 years old! Now, facebook has evolved quite a bit in the past 7 years, so I mainly see photos that I posted in college which is still pretty cool!
So, around this time last year….
There was apparently snow on a weekend… but not on that Friday. So I wasn’t happy. I also wrote a post about my love-hate (hate-hate) relationship with the scale…
Walking a little further down memory lane,
I was a senior in college and my best friend came down to visit me while she was still on her winter break. I NOW remember this night ever so clearly – as it was the night the GIANTS won and went to the Superbowl. It was a great game.
I am noticing the time stamps on these photos – and thinking of how much my life has changed. 12:21 am and I am posting to facebook? Um.. I’ve usually got 2.5 to 3 hours of sleep under my belt by this time now..and perhaps have already gotten up to go to the bathroom!
I am in no way promoting this app…well, I guess I am, but no one asked me too. It’s free.. and it’s fun! So – go take a walk down memory lane with Time Hop!!
