I hate the weekend after a three day weekend.. because it most definitely feels WAY too short!!

Exercise is one thing i do most days to keep me sane!!
I live a healthy balanced life by eating healthy most of the time and allowing myself to enjoy “junk” foods in moderation! I also make sure that I walk & take the stairs as much as possible since my schedule rarely allows for a good workout!

A chocolate a day for two weeks? Sign me up! I have been making a focused effort to eat more fruits and veggies in my diet. A food diary last year showed me I was far below the recommended daily intake!

To try and be healthy I have started baking/making a lot more of my own snacks- this is cutting down a lot of the preservatives, additives etc I was consuming which are in a lot of the pre-packaged snacks I used to buy.

I totally know how much IBS sucks! Mine used to be sooo awful, but it has gotten much better since I cut out gluten and dairy, also I drink a room temperature glass of water in the morning before breakfast.

To keep healthy every day, I drink lots of water and take my vitamins and make sure I eat my veggies

I’ve had similiar issues, especially with the bloating and stomach pain. A few weeks ago, it got so bad that I ended up at the doctor’s too. I’ve been taking probiotic pills and also have to watch what I eat. But it’s definitely helping. Although, I will say that eating the probiotics in chocolate form sounds a lot better.

I liked you on facebook! Yoga seriously keeps me in balance. I have also started to run. I believe I have IBS or a gluten sensitivity. I’m not quite sure. I am still trying to figure it out. I think the probiotic bars would be great! Have a good day!

I forwarded your IBS post to my husband and my sister and told them that is the story of my life! It’s miserable! And I definitely empathise and feel your pain (ha, literally!) Currently I take Fiber Choice and eat lots of fruits and veggies, and I actually like prunes, so I eat a few of them every day too. I also eat greek yogurt – but I’m lactose intolerant as well, so that’s in moderation. And I can’t eat most grains since I’m gluten intolerant as well. Still on the road to finding what will work for me…the chocolate bars sound great!

I take rest days! I used to think I had to work out every day but rest days keep my body healthy but rest days keep me balanced!
rest days are SO necessary.. although I must say, I am horrible at taking them even though I know how important they are. I planned to take one Sunday.. just go out for a little stroll. but the stroll turned into a run because I got bored of walking…
I eat a lot of spinach- one of the only vegetables I love
